We recently started stocking Two Fields Zakros, an extra virgin olive oil produced by two Dorset brothers, Harry and William, who moved to Zakros in Crete to set up their sustainable olive farm. So how do two guys from Dorset end up in Crete? We caught up with them to find out more.
After graduating university in 2013, Harry took a summer holiday to Crete. It was while he was on this holiday that he met Eleni, who is now his fiancée. They have been living happily together ever since. It was during the first few years in Crete that Harry started to appreciate the simple, fresh ingredients of Cretan cuisine, and realised that at the heart of each dish, is a good quality extra virgin olive oil.
