With his back to Swanage bay, young chef James Woodford brings an exquisite variety of seafood dishes; prepared and cooked on location using only a charcoal BBQ. James seeks the highest quality ingredients, locally sourced where possible, to create an ever changing menu of snacks and meals. The cellar bar, a beautifully decorated wine bar, and the ambience of Swanage provide the perfect setting for a light summer treat.
Following a successful and incredibly well reviewed first weekend the BBQ expects to be open for the remainder of summer 2019, opening Friday - Sunday every week with some additional days on demand and the occasional breakfast sitting. The food will range from seafood snacks to paella and traditional British BBQ - always with a focus on high quality and interesting flavours.
